COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT

Your collective agreement sets out your rights and responsibilities at work.  If you have any concerns about your treatment, please talk to your steward or a member of the executive.

BENEFITS

Health and dental benefits are provided through the Government of New Brunswick plan.  If you have issues or concerns signing up for benefits or feel that your are being unreasonably denied, please talk to your steward.

PENSIONS

CUPE 1253 members are part of the New Brunswick Public Service Pension Plan.  If you have any questions about your eligibility to participate in the plan or your treatment, please talk to a steward.

SCHOLARSHIP

Two scholarships valued at $500 each are available annually for attendance to any Post -Secondary Institution: University, community College or other accredited Post-Secondary Institution.

Those eligible are students- sons, daughters or legal ward graduating from grade 12 and have at least one parent that is in good standing in CUPE 1253.

Basis of Award: Consideration will be given graduation marks, aptitude, promise and need.
